Closed captions for film and TV haven't changed in decades. So a group of us at FCB, working off an original idea by designer (and all-round wonderful person) So A Ryu, employed our individual talents to change that.
The results were certainly noticed by the awards shows, but more importantly, the system is being adopted by the film industry after being recognized by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.
