I’m a Creative Director and Copywriter with experience creating and overseeing various brand campaigns as they come to life across a variety of different mediums. A good idea will communicate a focused point of view whether it’s encountered in broadcast or on a social feed, and whether its seen on a phone or the sales floor.

Just about every kind of brief one could hope for in this business has crossed my path. From robot dogs to chewing gum to a 650 horsepower Chevrolet Camaro. They’ve all needed the same thing: an intriguing idea that resonates. We’re all lucky to have done this for a living. Every day we get to obsess about something different.

I’ve put an emphasis on curating younger talent. Earlier in my career, just out of graduate school, I did this as a Copywriting instructor at VCU. Now I have the pleasure of teaching this craft as a Creative Director. The motive is the same: to foster an environment that leads to the kind of passionate work that makes a difference both personally and creatively for all involved. We work in a rapidly changing field, but the craft that turns good ideas into great ideas cannot be forgotten.

Outside of all of this you will find me writing and recording music, taking photographs of people and buildings, reading, or walking my wife and I’s Scottish Terrier Cosmo. I’m curious about the world and the people meandering about on top of it. Hopefully this curiosity is reflected in the work you see here
